Your local farm/ farmers markets. Fresh food at fair prices. Good for the environment. Good for the local economy. Stop buying everything from the big box store and contribute to your township, county, commonwealth or state.
We have 2 local farms: Pete's and Wynoor, both on 926 (Street Road) near 352 . Both have fresh produce and other good stuff like homemade pies. Check them out. Then go back and check them out again. It's worth a few extra minutes of your shopping trip. We get much of our food from them (when they're open) so it's not much less convenient, if at all, then going to a supermarket.

Our favorite is Nor-view Farm on Henderson Road in KoP. You can feed the animals, get water ice and ice cream, fill your cooler with fresh spring water, and buy plants and flowers during all seasons. There's a fun playground there, too. Even Uncle Dom would have fun there!
I get my spring water from norview farms
can't wait until wynmoor starts cranking out their product
Apparently we are neighbors. I love Pete's. I also found out about this place ( www.imbymistyhollow.com )
which is a stone's throw from Goose Creek Grill. It's a CSA where you can do farm work for food and or just pay an annual fee and get a whole season's worth of fresh veggies and herbs!
